As a charity, The Living Room relies on donations and fundraising in order to continue support for those in recovery from addiction. Their family members are also supported. This work is intensive, all-encompassing and life changing. It is also intensely private. Exploring the feelings behind the issues people face is at the heart of recovery.

Everyone has feelings, and everyone has a story.

On this very special night, some of the people who have come to The Living Room for help are going to share their story. For some, this will be in the form of poetry, for others song. Some will just talk. Honestly, bravely and openly.

Some of what you will hear has been put together as part of the Peer Workshop Programme - a scheme whereby clients share their passions and skills with their fellow group members.

All of what you will hear will be as a result of the work that The Living Room does, quietly, every day. For one night only come and hear our stories.

So please join us for a an evening of stories, poetry, song and speech. Stories from The Living Room will also feature a raffle, with prizes donated from local retailers, and our now-famous Mocktail Bar!
