Watford Quiz Night

We're holding our first ever quiz evening in Watford next month.

Maybe you know the square root of Pi, David Attenborough's shoe size or absolutely everything about the Spice Girls?

Wherever your knowledge lies, we’d love for you to come and join us for a fun evening and a touch of friendly competition.

It will be at the Meriden Community Centre, in Watford, on Thursday 15th June, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

Tickets cost £5.00 which includes a light buffet and refreshments. We'll also be holding a raffle and proceeds from the evening will be going towards helping us continue to break the cycle of addiction in Hertfordshire.

Getting there is easy, Meriden Community Centre has free parking and is only a short walk from both Garston and North Watford train stations.

It's a great chance to get together with family, friends or colleagues - in teams of 8 people - to have an awesome night out.

On Tuesday 29th August, we celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of our newly refurbished Charity Shop in Stevenage. The Grand Re-Opening of the new family orientated shop, took place at The Glebe, Chells following exciting renovation and expansion works.

Our Watford Hub (est. 2019) provides facilitated daytime group therapy sessions for all addictions and offers an evening facilitated treatment and support group for Family and Carers of people with an addiction.

There’s Hope in Hertfordshire as drug deaths rise

Staggering new figures released this week by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show that drug deaths in England and Wales are at an all-time high. Deaths recorded as drug poisoning have risen for the 10th consecutive year to the highest level since records began 30 years ago, with nearly half of deaths now involving an opiate. Read more
