We were honoured this week to attend The Recovery Street Film Festival, where we were awarded third prize for our film, 'The Underpass'. The Festival focuses on filmmakers who have a lived experience of recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, whether it is themselves or a loved one.

This year's theme was 'My Lightbulb Moment'. Filmmakers were asked to describe the moment or moments that led to their recovery journey. Our film, made by Jeremiah Quinn, tells the story of Darren, who attended The Living Room after he realised he needed help with his addiction.

Our chief executive, Adrienne Arthurs, received the award from actor Jason Flemyng at the Curzon Theatre in London.

The winning entrant was 'Understanding Me' (see below), a film about Ceri and the effect on her of her mother's alcohol addiction.
