Volunteers’ Week is held every June from the 1^st to the 7^th. Normally we would be thanking our volunteers in person, have a get-together or celebrate in other ways in our treatment centres, but coronavirus has meant we’re unable to meet up with each other and do those physical activities.

However, that doesn’t mean we can’t thank our volunteers for everything they’ve done for us over the last 20 years! Over the next 7 days, we’ll be posting videos on Facebook and Twitter from our staff highlighting the amazing work our volunteers do, sharing our favourite memories with them and showing them the gratitude they absolutely deserve.

We’re very lucky to have volunteers for all aspects of our service, from placement counsellors, charity shop staff, community fundraisers to reception and office staff. Some of our volunteers, like Maureen (pictured) who has been here since the very beginning (20 years!), are practically part of the furniture and we want to make sure they get thanked.
