Courage. Strength. Determination. These words sum up the key character traits our clients need to achieve long-term recovery.

The courage to walk through the door and say "I need help".
The strength to, mentally and physically, go through the programme, experience setbacks and move forward regardless.
To have the determination to see it through to the end and maintain abstinence for life.

These words also sum up how I feel, personally, about taking on the Brighton Marathon. It's a challenge that will require all three traits for me to get through the training and succeed on the day.

Working at The Living Room, I witness firsthand how the staff and volunteers make a huge difference to our clients' lives and help keep families together.

It would be amazing if everyone who visits this page could make a donation, no matter how small! And please share with your friends, family and co-workers.
