Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm raising money for The Living Room because it supports people recovering from addictions on a daily basis.

Addiction can affect us in many areas and is more common than some think. I battled with addiction from a young age which caused serious problems in all areas of my life and the lives of others around me. I thought there was no hope and my life gradually became unmanageable.

In 2016, I attended The Living Room, who helped me kickstart my road to recovery. I am so grateful for everything the people at the Living Room did for me and for so many others so I am Running the Yorkshire Marathon to help support them in continuing breaking the cycle of addiction.

Organisations like the The Living Room are vital. Every year they help around 500 adults in Hertfordshire living with addiction to drugs, alcohol and addictive behaviours such gambling and disordered eating. They also help the family and carers of loved ones living with addiction.

Donating is fast, easy and secure. Please share with friends and family on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere so I can reach my target and together we can help The Living Room do more. Thank you for your time and support.
