Our CEO Adrienne Arthurs has an important update regarding the future of our Stevenage Crèche:

It brings me no joy to inform you that BBC Children in Need have decided not to renew their funding of our treasured crèche, in Stevenage and as a result it will cease operating on 5th January 2022.

The crèche has been funded by Children in Need for the last twelve years and Pudsey has been part of our journey, supporting parents who need reliable childcare in order to focus on their own recovery. Many, many children have benefitted from our wonderful crèche and the dedicated team who have provided love, guidance and learning to all the children and support to their parents.

As a charity, all of our services are reliant on funding to provide a free service to people that need our support. Unfortunately, there are many organisations who are competing for the small amount of funding available and on this occasion funders have not supported our request, forcing the crèche to close for good.

I hope you will join me in thanking the crèche team for all they have done and wishing them good fortune in their future. If you are a client and have any questions or concerns about the closure of the crèche, please speak with your keyworker.

Thank you for your understanding.
