At 3pm this Sunday, 23rd April, 2023 a UK-wide test of an emergency alert is due to take place on EVERY MOBILE PHONE in the country.

This means that most phones or tablets will make a siren-like sound for up to 10 seconds, including devices switched to silent mode. Devices will also vibrate and display a message about the test.

Sometimes those living with domestic abuse have a mobile phone hidden ‘just in case’. Please remember to switch it off on Sunday 23^rd April.

Your hidden phone must be switched off during this time to avoid discovery.
