Thank you Waitrose

Thank you to Waitrose St Albans and their shoppers who pledged their green tokens to us meaning we received a cheque totalling £333. This will go towards our general donation which will allow us to continue providing free group therapy for people living with addictions in Hertfordshire.

Penny climbs Three Peaks for The Living Room

Taking it one step at a time, Penny and her amazing group climbed three of Yorkshires highest peaks and raised an incredible £2.089 for The Living Room.

Our Stevenage Hub (est. 2000) hosts free, non-time limited daytime group therapy for all addictions. Additional weekly specialist group sessions are available for drug addiction, disordered eating, relationships and a Family and Carers group.

Our Charity Shop is Grandly Announced Open!

There’s Hope in Hertfordshire as drug deaths rise

Staggering new figures released this week by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show that drug deaths in England and Wales are at an all-time high. Deaths recorded as drug poisoning have risen for the 10th consecutive year to the highest level since records began 30 years ago, with nearly half of deaths now involving an opiate. Read more
