Addiction Therapy and Support for Individuals and Families

We, The Living Room Hertfordshire, are an award-winning addiction recovery charity founded in 2000, to provide abstinence-based therapy and support in the community.

Vision and Values

The Living Room exists to provide treatment for adults with the illness of addiction and to support their family members, in Hertfordshire and other areas of the UK.

St Albans Centre

St Albans centre provides all addiction day-time group therapy for 5 days a week. St Albans also has additional support groups for Disordered Eating and a separate Family and Carers group once a week.

The Living Room celebrates contract win with plans to expand

We are delighted to announce that The Living Room has secured a contract to provide Hertfordshire's community-based drugs and alcohol rehabilitation programme for the next eight years.

Approach and Impact

Our structured treatment offers clients the hope of recovery whether their addiction is to alcohol, drugs or behaviours such as overeating, gambling, self-harm or relationships.

Stevenage Centre

Our Stevenage Centre (est. 2000) hosts 5 days a week daytime group therapy for all addictions. Additional weekly group support sessions are available for drug addiction and a Friends and Family treatment programme.

Talks and Workshops

The Living Room can come to your organisation to deliver a talk or a workshop on how to recognise and treat addiction.
